Custom AI solutions for the problem no product fits.
When an off-the-shelf tool or a standard build won't solve it, we design from your problem instead. We assess feasibility honestly, prove the hard part on your data first, then build a production system you own, using whatever mix of techniques the job actually needs.
The difference is starting from your problem
When the problem is specific, the solution should be too
Packaged AI tools cover common needs well. But some problems are specific to your data, your workflow, or your constraints, and forcing them into a generic product means constant compromise. That's where a bespoke solution pays off: one designed around the outcome you actually need.
We treat custom AI as engineering, not a science experiment. We assess what's feasible, prove the risky part early on your real data, and only then build the full system, combining retrieval, agents, automation, or custom models as the problem demands. You get a solution that fits, backed by evidence it works.
What you get
A bespoke system, built with discipline
Feasibility first, the right techniques for the job, and a production-grade solution you own, not a prototype that stalls.
A solution scoped to your problem
We start from the outcome you need, not a product we already sell, so the system is shaped around your problem rather than the reverse.
Feasibility, assessed honestly
A clear read on what's achievable with today's models and your data, so you know what will work before you commit a full budget.
Proof of concept first
A focused spike on your real data that proves the hard part early, so the risk is retired before we build the whole thing.
The right technique for the job
Retrieval, agents, automation, or classic machine learning, often combined, chosen to fit the problem instead of forcing one approach.
Custom models where they earn it
Fine-tuning or purpose-built models when general ones fall short, and off-the-shelf models when they're plenty, so you don't overbuild.
Wired into your systems and data
Typed integrations to the tools and data the solution depends on, so it works inside your stack rather than as an isolated experiment.
Evaluated and guarded
Evaluation sets that measure quality on your cases, plus guardrails, so a bespoke system is judged on evidence and stays safe in use.
Production-grade and owned
Delivered as typed, tested, observable code you own, so a custom solution is something you can run and extend, not a prototype that rots.
How we build it
From an honest feasibility read to a solution you own
A clear path that proves the approach before the full build, so a bespoke project stays on solid ground at every stage.
- 01
Discovery & feasibility
We dig into the problem, your data, and your constraints, and give an honest read on what's realistic and worth doing.
- 02
Proof of concept
We build a focused spike on your real data to prove the riskiest part, so we validate the approach before a full commitment.
- 03
Design & architecture
With the approach proven, we choose the techniques, models, and integrations and design a solution that fits your stack.
- 04
Build & evaluate
We build it production-grade, typed and tested, with evals and guardrails, shipped in reviewable iterations.
- 05
Deploy & iterate
We deploy with monitoring, watch it on real usage, and refine as your data, models, and needs evolve.

Why it matters
Bespoke AI is an edge, if it ships
A solution built around your exact problem can do what no competitor's off-the-shelf stack can, because it uses your data and fits your workflow. That's a real advantage. The risk is that bespoke AI can drift into open-ended research that burns budget and never reaches production.
Feasibility-first delivery is what keeps it on the right side of that line. By proving the hard part early and building only what the evidence supports, you get the upside of a custom system without the open-ended risk, and because you own the code, the advantage stays yours to extend.

FAQ
Custom AI solutions, answered
Have a problem that doesn't fit a product? Book a call and we'll scope it with you.
What are custom AI solutions?
They're AI systems built from your specific problem rather than from a fixed product. When a standard chatbot, agent, LLM app, or automation doesn't quite fit, we design a bespoke solution: we assess feasibility, prove the hard part, choose the right mix of techniques, and build it production-grade. The defining trait is that the system is shaped around your problem, not the other way around.
When do we need a custom solution instead of an off-the-shelf tool?
When your problem is specific enough that packaged tools force awkward compromises, when it depends on your own data or workflows in ways a generic product can't reach, or when it combines several techniques no single product offers. If an off-the-shelf tool or one of our standard services fits, we'll tell you, custom is the right call only when it genuinely pays off.
Do you build custom models, or use existing ones?
Both, depending on what the problem needs. Modern general models handle a great deal out of the box, so we use them when they're enough. When they fall short, on accuracy, cost, latency, or privacy, we fine-tune or build purpose-built models. We make that call on evidence from the proof of concept, not by defaulting to the most complex option.
How do you reduce the risk of an AI project that might not work?
We lead with feasibility and a proof of concept. Before any full build, we spike the riskiest part on your real data to see whether the approach actually holds up. That way you get an honest answer early and a small, contained cost if it doesn't, instead of discovering a dead end after a large investment. If it does work, the proof of concept becomes the foundation for the real build.
What data do you need, and how is it handled?
It depends on the problem, but a representative sample of your real data is what makes feasibility and evaluation meaningful. Your data is used to build and measure your solution, not to train models without your explicit agreement. We keep access least-privilege, and where privacy or compliance requires it, we can run open models so data never leaves your environment.
What does a custom AI engagement look like?
It usually starts small: a short discovery and a proof of concept over a few weeks to prove the approach and size the work. From there, the full build runs in reviewable iterations, with timelines that depend on scope and how much custom modeling is involved. We scope it with you on a call, so the first step is low-commitment and the direction is clear before you invest further.
